Our History
Si+So Architects is a Ranchi-based architectural firm led by a team of architects, designers, and thinkers working across architecture, interiors, landscape, and urban planning.
Known for their technically strong, resource-conscious, and programmatically innovative work, Si+So focuses on simplicity, meaningful spaces, and timeless design.
The firm aims to break away from conventional typologies and create architecture that responds to the evolving needs of modern life.
Gautam Kumar Modi, the Principal Architect, Urban Planner, and Director of Si+So Architects, is a graduate of the prestigious BIT Mesra, Ranchi. His academic excellence earned him the Best Thesis Award (2011–2016), followed by national recognition from leading architectural institutions.
He has been honoured at the National Awards for Excellence in Architectural Thesis (NIASA) 2016, the JK AYA Architecture Student of the Year Award, and the Architecture, Design & Interior Award by the Indian Institute of Architects. His work reflects a blend of research-driven thinking, technical depth, and a commitment to timeless, meaningful architecture.
